Shafee to know on Oct 28 if he has to enter defence in money laundering case


KUALA LUMPUR: Senior lawyer Tan Sri Muhammad Shafee Abdullah (pic) will know on Oct 28 if he will be freed or ordered to defend himself against charges of money laundering involving RM9.5mil allegedly received from Datuk Seri Najib Razak, and making false declarations to the Inland Revenue Board (LHDN).

High Court judge Datuk Muhammad Jamil Hussin set the date after both parties made their submissions at the end of the prosecution case.
