SUKE opens today, enjoy toll-free travel for a month


KUALA LUMPUR: A project to ease traffic congestion in eastern Kuala Lumpur that was six years in the making will finally see the light of day with the opening of Phase 1 of the Sungai Besi-Ulu Kelang Elevated Expressway (SUKE) to motorists at noon today.

At the official opening ceremony at the Bukit Teratai toll plaza yesterday evening, Works Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof said motorists would get to enjoy toll-free travel for one month on this expressway beginning today.
