PUTRAJAYA: The Keluarga Malaysia Cheap Sales (JMKM) programme will be introduced in October at public higher education institutions to ease the burden of undergraduates with the reopening of universities after the semester break, says Tan Sri Noh Omar.

The Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives Minister, who is also a member of the special task force on jihad against inflation, said for a start, the programme will begin in Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) in the first week of October as a pilot project before being extended to 20 campuses nationwide.
