Trans flees vice raid from building’s second floor

A THAI national, believed to be a transgender woman, had passers-by on edge when she climbed down from the second floor of a nine-storey building in Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong.

China Press reported that during the 4pm incident on Thursday, the woman dressed in a skimpy nightdress, was allegedly escaping from a vice raid.

She was spotted squatting at the ledge of James S. Lee Mansion on Carnarvon Road, nervously trying to find ways to descend.

She eventually made her way down by using an air-conditioner compressor and a No Entry sign before being helped by members of the public.

She is believed to have been taken away by police later.

Videos of the woman’s dramatic escape later went viral on social media.

Reports said the woman was tracked down by the authorities for overstaying in Hong Kong.

> Taiwanese actress Joe Chen returned to her Shanghai apartment this week with her doorstep stacked with piles of parcels – goods she had bought online while she was travelling, Sin Chew Daily reported.

The 43-year-old shared videos of the situation on her Insta Story, saying that she had to spend some time clearing the goods and moving them into her house.

“OMG, I can’t even exit the lift. How am I supposed to enter my house? Half of my stuff has not arrived yet!” she said.

She added that her husband Alan Chen, a Malaysian artist, had threatened to remove the online shopping app from her mobile phone.

In March, Joe married Alan, 34, in Taiwan. The couple stayed there during the Covid-19 pandemic.

They finally returned to Shanghai after enjoying a vacation in Hong Kong.
