Part of Jalan Seremban-Kuala Pilah closed after palm oil tanker overturns

The stretch has been closed indefinitely due to safety reasons.

SEREMBAN: A stretch along Jalan Seremban-Kuala Pilah here has been closed to traffic temporarily after a tanker lorry transporting palm oil overturned and spilled its cargo.

A police spokesman said the incident happened around 7.15pm on Monday (Sept 26) along the exit heading towards Senawang.

"Although the Fire and Rescue Department personnel have cleaned up the spill, we have decided to close the stretch indefinitely due to safety reasons," he said.

Motorists, he said, could use alternative routes to get to their destinations.

These are Jalan Senawang-Paroi (via Pusat Dakwah Islamiah Paroi), Jalan Taman Lavender Heights and Jalan Kg Sentosa.
