News reports on parliamentary meetings should be fair, accurate, not sensationalised, says Speaker


KUALA LUMPUR: The media need to understand better the procedures and rules of a parliamentary sitting to enable better reporting and disseminating of accurate messages to the public, says Tan Sri Azhar Azizan Harun.

The Dewan Rakyat Speaker said anything that happened including the rulings made by him were in accordance with the parliamentary meeting procedures that were based on the Federal Constitution.
