Dr Mahathir will defend Langkawi seat in GE15

KUALA LUMPUR: Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad (pic) is firm about defending his Langkawi parliamentary seat in the 15th General Election and welcomed others to contest there. “I will continue to defend my seat in Langkawi but anyone can contest for it,” he said.

The Gerakan Tanah Air (GTA) chairman said this in response to reports that PKR president Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s former political secretary, Datuk Ezam Mohd Nor, is expected to vie for the Langkawi seat.
