Deepavali break: Traffic under control on major roads in Penang


GEORGE TOWN: Traffic was reported to be smooth and under control on major roads and highways in Penang ahead of Deepavali, say police.

"So far, despite many vehicles coming into the city centre here, the traffic is smooth and no heavy congestion has been reported,” George Town OCPD Asst Comm Soffian Santong said when contacted on Saturday (Oct 22).
