BATU PAHAT: A 73-year-old woman lost more than RM400,000 of her life savings after being duped by a man who claimed to be a police officer from the Perak district headquarters here.
Batu Pahat OCPD Asst Comm Ismail Dollah said that the victim received a call from the suspect in August, who introduced himself as "Sarjan Ong".
