PETALING JAYA: The number of new Covid-19 cases rose by 21.5% (11,957 to 14,525 cases) during epidemiological week 42 (Oct 16 to 22), says the Health Ministry.
Its director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said the number of deaths also went up to 70.6% – from 17 cases in the week prior to 29 cases during the period.
