KOTA TINGGI: Umno has thrown its support behind Ayer Hitam incumbent MP Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong (pic) to contest the parliamentary seat despite talk that DAP will be fielding a Malay candidate.
Johor Umno secretary Datuk Samsol Bari Jamali said Barisan Nasional was unperturbed with the possibility of Johor DAP vice-chairman Sheikh Umar Bagharib Ali contesting the seat.
