GE15: Heavy police presence at nomination centre for Bandar Tun Razak seat

PETALING JAYA: Gloomy skies and a light drizzle have set the atmosphere at the Institut Latihan DBKL (IDB), the nomination centre for the Bandar Tun Razak constituency on Saturday (Nov 5).

As early as 7.30am, heavy police presence together with People's Volunteer Corps (Rela) members were seen along Jalan Yaacob Latif.

Parts of Jalan Yaacob Latif leading up to the IDB were closed and motorists had to make a U-turn at the Jalan Bakti junction.

The nomination of the 15th General Election candidates for Bandar Tun Razak is expected to start at 9am until 10am.

Incumbent MP Datuk Kamarudin Jaafar is expected to defend his seat while Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail (PKR) and Datuk Chew Yin Keen (MCA) were also named as candidates for Bandar Tun Razak by their respective parties.
