> Independent preacher Ebit Lew visited a victim of domestic violence, Jahidah Nordin, 43, and gave encouragement to her family members to continue to take care of the woman who is still in a coma, reported Utusan Malaysia.
The victim’s younger sister, Fauziah, 40, who is now looking after Jahidah, said she was touched by Lew’s words about the challenge her sister faced.
According to reports, Jahidah, who lives in Johor Baru, was in a coma due to a severe head injury. Her skull had to be removed due to bleeding and she also suffered injuries to her jaw, spine and ribs.
“He told me Allah is not only testing Jahidah, but me too, to take care of my sister and her son Eshan Nufail.”
According to Fauziah, Lew’s visit was greatly appreciated by the family.
“Alhamdulillah, he also prayed for my sister to recover and for Eshan to become a devoted child,” she said.
