GE15: Barisan's track record caring for the Orang Asli speaks for itself, says Dr Mah

TANJUNG MALIM: The Barisan Nasional Government has a good track record in caring for the orang asli, says Datuk Dr Mah Hang Soon.

He said Barisan has always been taking care of the community in the past few decades, upgrading their living environment and facilities at the schools in their settlements and others.

"You know it. How many times have you seen me these past few years?

"Even when I was not the MP, I lost in the previous general elections, I still come, meet with all of you and listen to your requests," he told the orang asli during his campaign rounds to a list of settlements here on Wednesday (Nov 16).

Dr Mah asked the people what has the Pakatan government done for them and the community responded in total silence.

There were some over 15,000 orang asli residing at 34 villages in the constituency.

The community made up 9% of the total voters here.
