GE15: Each mandate I receive makes me strive to help Ayer Hitam develop and prosper, says Dr Wee

PETALING JAYA: A walkabout from shop to shop was how caretaker Transport Minister Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong started his 12th day of campaigning for the 15th General Election.

The Barisan Nasional candidate for the Ayer Hitam seat in Johor visited the vendors and locals having their breakfast at the various coffee shops on Jalan Besar Yong Peng on Wednesday (Nov 16) morning to ask for their support on polling day.

"Every mandate from the voters of Ayer Hitam is an encouragement for me to continue my responsibility without stopping so that Ayer Hitam can continue to develop and be prosperous," he said in a Facebook post on Wednesday (Nov 16).

Dr Wee, who is vying to retain the Ayer Hitam parliamentary seat, also posted a short clip of him meeting with the constituents, who greeted him cordially.

Polling for GE15 will take place on Saturday (Nov 19).
