Man, 40, found dead near Chemor house


IPOH: A 40-year-old man was found dead near a house in Kampung Cik Zainal in Chemor here.

Perak police chief Datuk Comm Mohd Yusri Hassan Basri said the man, whose name was withheld, was discovered by his neighbour at about 11.30am on Nov 15.

"We received a call about an unconscious man at about 11.50am.

"The forensics team from the Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital found bruises on the face and body," he said.

"They estimated the time of death to be about 12 hours earlier," he added.

Comm Mohd Yusri said the case would be classified as sudden death pending a postmortem report.

"Those with information into this case can contact senior investigating officer Asst Supt Fadli Ahmad at 019-250 0019 to facilitate investigations," he added.
