GE15: BN supporters, media gather at WTC to await results

KUALA LUMPUR: Barisan Nasional supporters and media personnel have gathered at the World Trade Centre (WTC) here to monitor the election results on Saturday (Nov 19) night.

Barisan has put up four giant screens in the Tun Hussein Onn Hall for the coalition's leaders to observe the outcome.

However, media personnel were not allowed to enter the hall.

Two screens were also placed at the WTC lobby to broadcast the latest results displayed by local news agencies.

The atmosphere remains calm with supporters still awaiting official results.

Polling has been completed for the 15th General Election (GE15) and counting of the ballots is under way.

Polling centres opened at 7.30am in Sabah and Sarawak and 8am in the peninsula.
