Shahelmey was responding to questions from several representatives including Datuk Hassan A Gani Pg Amir (GRS-Sebatik) on updates to a plan to build a health clinic in Kg Sungai Tamang and Mentadak in Tawau district.
He said the project plans are expected to be completed by Feb 28, with the tender to be open in the middle of next year.
He also said the state government will talk to Health Ministry officials about the possibility of placing an experienced medical officer to handle emergency cases while waiting for the clinic to be built in the Sebatik area.
