Motorcyclist killed after hitting road divider on SUKE


KUALA LUMPUR: A motorcyclist was killed in a late-night accident along the Sungai Besi-Ulu Kelang Elevated Expressway (SUKE) on Saturday (Dec 3).

In a statement on Sunday (Dec 4), Ampang Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Mohamad Farouk Eshak said the victim, in his 20s, lost control of his machine after a turning along KM18.9.

"He then entered the (oncoming) lane before colliding with a divider.

"The resulting fall left him with head and facial injuries.

"He was pronounced dead at the scene by medical officers from Hospital Ampang," he said.

According to ACP Mohamad Farouk, there are no CCTV cameras at the location.

"We ask witnesses to share information by contacting traffic investigation officer Insp Muhamad Yusaiful Muhamat Basir at 011-1307 8348," he added.
