Sabah STAR quits Perikatan

KOTA KINABALU: Sabah STAR is no longer part of Perikatan Nasional on Monday (Dec 5).

This comes after several days of hinting that the party would leave the coalition.

Party president Datuk Seri Dr Jeffrey Kitingan had said that their membership in Perikatan was no longer relevant due to disagreements about the formation of a unity government at the federal level.

Kitingan, however, cannot be contacted to elaborate further on the decision to quit Perikatan.
