Batang Kali landslide: Five more bodies found, death toll now 16


HULU SELANGOR: Five more landslide victims have been confirmed dead, taking the death toll to 16.

Hulu Selangor OCPD Supt Suffian Abdullah said as at 1pm on Friday (Dec 15), authorities are still searching for 17 more victims.

"We are using various techniques to search for victims including the incubator technique.

"We are also getting additional manpower from various agencies. In terms of the police, we are also assisted by the Federal Reserve Unit (FRU) and the General Operations Force (GOF)," he told reporters at the landslide location.
