Batang Kali landslide: Possible to identify bodies, say cops

HULU SELANGOR: Identifying the deceased victims of the landslide at Father's Organic Farm in Batang Kali is still possible, given the conditions of the bodies.

Hulu Selangor OCPD Supt Suffian Abdullah said there were not many visible injuries on the bodies, and the identification by the next of kin is still possible.

"Identifying the victims' bodies will not be a problem," he told reporters at the landslide site on Friday (Dec 16).

He said the bodies of the victims have been sent to Sungai Buloh Hospital.

"Family members and relatives of the victims can refer to Sungai Buloh Hospital for identification.

"They can also come to the operations centre for the search and rescue operations, and we will assist them," he added.
