Batang Kali landslide: Three more bodies claimed as of noon Dec 18


SUNGAI BULOH: As of noon Sunday (Dec 18), three bodies of Batang Kali landslide victims have been claimed by relatives.

Sources said six more bodies had yet to be claimed.

The three hearses with the remains left Hospital Sungai Buloh mortuary soon after sombre-looking relatives claimed the bodies.

The mortuary saw a flurry of activity on Sunday morning as relatives of the deceased arrived to identify and claim their remains.

The landslide at Father's Organic Farm in Batang Kali near Gohtong Jaya, which occurred in the wee hours of Friday (Dec 16) morning, has claimed 24 lives so far.

Sixty-one people survived the disaster, while nine others are still missing.
