State exco member Datuk Seri Mohammad Nizar Jamaluddin (PH-Sungai Rapat) proposed and the proposal was supported by fellow state exco member Salbiah Mohamed (BN-Temengor).

During the state assembly sitting, Saarani and 57 state assemblymen were also sworn in.

The sitting was adjourned following the swearing-in and will resume on Tuesday.
