Batang Kali landslide: Victims at hospitals have returned home, says Nadma

KUALA LUMPUR: Eight people who were being treated at several hospitals after being injured at the Father’s Organic Farm campsite landslide in Gotong Jaya, Batang Kali have been allowed to return home.

The National Disaster Management Agency (Nadma) said in a statement on Wednesday (Dec 21) that the victims are aged between 13 to 44 and were being treated at the Selayang Hospital, Kuala Kubu Baru Hospital, and Kuala Lumpur Hospital and added that the last were discharged on Monday (Dec 19)

"Any updated information on the victims of this disaster will be announced periodically after getting official confirmation from responsible agencies,” the agency said.

The first to be discharged were Ng Wei Lun, Mg Tan and Sandy Cheah Hui Kein, who were all discharged from the Kuala Kubu Baru Hospital on Dec 16.

Following this, Yam Lee Yen and Choo Wai Lun were discharged from the Selayang Hospital on Dec 17, while Loh Teng Shui was discharged from the same hospital on Dec 18.

The last two to be discharged were Tan Ei Ein and Ling Zi Xuan, who were both discharged from the Kuala Lumpur Hospital on Monday. - Bernama
