As Argentina’s forward #10 Lionel Messi scored the first goal at the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 final, jubilant fans jumped with joy at the live broadcasting party hosted by Sime Darby Property (SDP) for the community of Putra Heights in Selangor on Sunday night.
Passionate fans, their family members and friends turned up in droves to support their favourite teams during the experential live viewing party held to celebrate the World Cup fever.
Besides the final game between Argentina and France played at the Lusail Stadium, the event at The Glades Plaza also featured a string of family-friendly activities for everyone to enjoy that night.
It has been a month of triumphs and defeats, as some of the best teams were ousted one by one – Germany, Brazil, Spain, Portugal, the Netherlands, South Korea and England.

There were also food trucks so everyone could get their fill of yummy snacks before the game – free flow of popcorn and ice cream, exciting games and cool merchandise up for grabs.
