Batang Kali landslide: Body of the last victim found


HULU SELANGOR: The body of the last victim of the landslide at Father's Organic Farm has been found.

The boy was discovered by the search and rescue (SAR) team at 4.53pm.

After most of the day of no new developments, media personnel were alerted at about 5pm of the possibility of the 31st deceased victim having been found on the ninth day of the SAR operation.

Hulu Selangor OCPD Supt Suffian Abdullah is expected to have a press conference later.

It is expected with all the victims discovered, the SAR operation will stand down.

Earlier Selangor Fire and Rescue Department director Datuk Norazam Khamis had said that the SAR operation on Saturday was focused on Sector A (Hillview) involving some 80 personnel from various agencies.
