Save in SSPN for your children's future, advises Dr Wee

PETALING JAYA: Parents should invest in the National Education Savings Scheme (SSPN) for their children's future, says Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong.

"People are encouraged to save money via SSPN for the benefit of their children, especially those who are still schooling. A tax relief of up to RM8,000 per year will also be given to the depositor," he said in a Facebook post.

The Ayer Hitam MP visited Menara PTPTN in Kuala Lumpur on Tuesday (Dec 27) to put in savings for his children.

"For those who can afford to save some money and haven't opened any account here, it's good to open an account immediately as it has many benefits," he said.

The MCA president also thanked the staff at Menara PTPTN for their friendliness and good service.

"They deserve the 10/10 rating!" he added.
