Cases of Indonesian domestic helpers being mistreated to be reviewed, says Zambry


JAKARTA: Malaysia will review Indonesian domestic maid mistreatment cases to ensure that justice is served based on the existing laws in the country, says Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Zambry Abdul Kadir (pic).

"I understand the concerns of the Indonesian authorities regarding the well-being and welfare of the domestic maids in Malaysia,” he said during a joint press conference with his counterpart Retno Mardudi after a bilateral meeting here on Thursday (Dec 29).
