Shoe shop at Kuala Lumpur mall razed in fire


KUALA LUMPUR: A shoe shop at the Mines shopping mall was burnt down in a fire.

Selangor Fire and Rescue Department director Datuk Norazam Khamis said the incident occurred at about 11.52am on Sunday (Jan 15).

"Firemen from three fire stations were dispatched to the scene. The shoplot was completely destroyed in the fire," he said when contacted.

Norazam added that the fire was brought under control by 12.25pm.

"We are still investigating the cause of the fire," he said, adding that no victims were involved in the fire.
