Police believe victim dumped in pieces along NSE was a foreigner national


SUNGAI BULOH: The victim who was hacked up and dumped by the side of the North South Expressway is believed to be a foreign man,

Sungai Buloh OCPD Supt Shafaaton Abu Bakar said this following a post mortem examination which was conducted at the Sungai Buloh Hospital on Wednesday (Jan 18).

"The victim is believed to be a foreign man and the cause of death has been identified as multiple blunt and sharp injuries.

"We have also taken a statement from the man who alerted the police yesterday(Jan17)," she said in a statement on Wednesday.

She said police were now focussing on tracing the identity of the victim.

It was reported that a human torso and other body parts were found along the North-South Expressway.

The grisly find was made on Tuesday (Jan 17) morning by a man who immediately called the police

Supt Shafaaton said they found a torso as well as a suitcase at the scene along KM447 of the North South Expressway near the Rawang Selatan exit.

The partial body (from waist to neck) was found at the scene while the head, legs and arms were found inside the suitcase.
