Eco-forest parks in S’gor reopen on Feb 1

SHAH ALAM: Nature and hiking activities will resume in Selangor soon, the state’s Forestry Department (JPNS) says.

Six eco-forest parks, namely Sg Tua, Sg Sendat, Sg Rekala, Komanwel, Kota Damansara and Gunung Nuan, will be reopened to the public beginning Feb 1.

Also opening on the same day are 30 hiking trails in the forest districts of Hulu Selangor, Pantai Klang and Selangor Tengah, JPNS added.

It has asked the public to obtain a permit from the nearest district forestry offices.

These sites were closed last month due to bad weather, Bernama reported.
