"We believe he went to Johor Baru to destress as he was sitting for exams.

"He was about to board a bus to Kuala Lumpur when his father found him," he said when contacted on Friday (Jan 20).

It was previously reported that the boy was traced to Johor Baru based on his debit card transactions.

CCTV footage also showed that the student was with another man, believed to be his friend.

Police had earlier discovered his motorcycle at Terminal Bersepadu Selatan (TBS) here.
