Exit lanes at UPM toll plaza reopen, leftmost lane still shut for maintenance


PETALING JAYA: Exit lanes at the UPM toll plaza are now open to road users, except for the leftmost lane, says PLUS Malaysia Bhd (PLUS).

PLUS, in a statement Sunday (Jan 22), said that the toll plaza was now opened after PLUS and related parties had conducted further investigations and checks.

"However, the left lane of the toll plaza is still closed for repairs and maintenance work.

"At 6.20am Sunday, a tour bus with 40 passengers caught fire while exiting the UPM toll plaza, causing it to be temporarily closed.

"PLUS advises all users passing through the UPM toll plaza to practice caution and adhere to the signs and warnings that have been put up," it said.
