Two nabbed for illegal racing on DASH


SHAH ALAM: Two motorists have been arrested for illegally racing along the Damansara-Shah Alam (DASH) expressway.

In a statement Tuesday (Feb 28), Shah Alam OCPD Asst Comm Mohd Iqbal Ibrahim said police were notified after a video of a group of street racers was uploaded to social media.

He said the group had started racing from the Denai Alam toll plaza until KM0 of the expressway before making their way back to the toll plaza.

Following the video, police arrested two suspects on Monday (Feb 27).

"Two men, aged 20 and 29, were arrested and two cars seized. Both men work as mechanics.

"Four more suspects are being traced," he said.
