JOHOR BARU: All agencies have been mobilised to help flood victims as Johor is being tested once more, says Mentri Besar Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi.

In a Facebook post on Wednesday (March 1), Onn Hafiz said that he visited a temporary flood relief centre at SK Bukit Mutiara near Bandar Dato Onn, which is one of the 21 temporary relief centres open in four badly-hit districts as of 8am.

Onn Hafiz added that he was able to see the rescue of victims that were at their homes.

“As of now, some 1,591 victims from 560 families are affected. It is expected that there will be an increase in the number of flood victims soon,” he said.

Onn Hafiz also urged the public to always stay vigilant and listen to instructions and advice given by security agencies during such situations.
