Muhyiddin to face another graft charge on March 13, says Peja


KUALA LUMPUR: Former prime minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin (pic) is expected to be hit with another corruption charge on Monday (March 13), says Datuk Seri Ahmad Faizal Azumu.

The Bersatu deputy president told Perikatan Nasional supporters gathered outside the Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court here on Friday (March 10) that he had been informed Muhyiddin will be charged at the Shah Alam courts.

Muhyiddin was slapped with four counts of power abuse involving a total of RM232.5mil in gratification and two counts of money laundering involving RM195mil on Friday.

He pleaded not guilty to all the charges.

At a press conference outside Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) headquarters on Thursday (March 9), Muhyiddin said he had been told that he would be facing seven charges in the Kuala Lumpur and Shah Alam courts.
