Perikatan leaders gather for press conference, Muhyiddin yet to arrive


KUALA LUMPUR: Several Perikatan Nasional leaders have gathered at the Kuala Lumpur court complex for a press conference after coalition chairman Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin was slapped with six graft charges on Friday (March 10).

Among those present were Perikatan secretary-general Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainudin, Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali, Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) deputy president Datuk Seri Ahmad Faizal Azumu, and Machang MP Wan Ahmad Fayhsal Wan Ahmad Kamal.

Muhyiddin had yet to arrive for the press conference at 11am.

Earlier, the Bersatu president was charged at the Sessions Court here with four counts of power abuse involving a total of RM232.5mil in gratification and two counts of money laundering involving RM195mil on Friday.

He pleaded not guilty to all the charges.
