Driver escapes with light injuries after vehicle crashes into car park wall

GOMBAK: A driver almost drove off an elevated car park after his vehicle's accelerator got stuck.

In a statement on Sunday (March 12), acting Gombak OCPD Supt Noor Ariffin Mohamad Nasir said that the incident occurred at the Vista Saujana Apartment in Desa Jaya on March 9.

He said the accelerator pedal in the 67-year-old driver's car got stuck on the car mat, resulting in the vehicle crashing into a wall at the apartment's car park.

"The driver sustained light injuries," he said.
