HRD Corp to hold human capital conference and exhibition from May 31 to June 1


GEORGE TOWN: The Human Resource Development Corporation (HRD Corp) has announced that it will hold its National Human Capital Conference and Exhibition (NHCCE) 2023-Northern Region from May 31 to June 1.

The event, which will be organised in partnership with the Penang Skill Development Centre (PSDC), will take place at the Setia Spice Convention Centre here.

Human Resources Minister V. Sivakumar, who was at the announcement, said the NHCCE 2023-Northern Region will be an effective platform for subject matter experts and industry players in the region to discuss in greater detail and develop a constructive discourse that will take Malaysia's talent to the next level.

"I hope all industry players here will take advantage of this opportunity and be part of the event," he said during his speech at the Setia Spice Convention Centre on Sunday (March 12).

Themed HR 5.0: Evolution in Human Resource Development, the event will discuss five key topics that aim to equip leaders, industry players, senior management, HR practitioners and working professionals with skills and knowledge to champion the implementation of human capital transformation initiative in their respective organisations.

The conference will feature more than 20 renowned local and international speakers, 50 exhibitors from various industries and about 1,000 delegates from Penang, Perak, Kedah and Perlis at the two-day event.

The event is held in conjunction with the ministry's “Hari Bertemu Pelanggan”, which was held at the same venue where Sivakumar visited the booths after announcing the launch of

NHCCE 2023-Northern Region.

The booths featured 14 departments and agencies under the ministry and three state agencies.

It was organised to provide the community with a platform to engage the representatives of the ministry and state government.

The minister is expected to attend Women Empowerment Month 2023 later at the same venue.
