Making death threats over 'Mentega Terbang' overboard and criminal, says Fahmi

PETALING JAYA: Death threats to the cast and crew of "Mentega Terbang" are overboard and against the law, says Fahmi Fadzil.

"I strongly condemn these threats and actions that have gone over the boundaries of the law. Malaysians must obey the law and not take actions that can damage property or harm lives.

"Follow the law, don't take matters into your own hands," the Communications and Digital Minister tweeted on Thursday (March 16).

He also posted photos of the threats and vehicles being splashed with acid.

On Tuesday (March 14) Bukit Aman recorded the statements of a producer and six actors involved in the movie.

Police secretary Deputy Comm Datuk Noorsiah Mohd Saaduddin had previously said that eight police reports have been lodged against the movie.
