Cops: Death threats over 'Mentega Terbang' issued at different times on same day

PETALING JAYA: Both death threats to the cast and crew of the controversial film "Mentega Terbang" were made on the same day but at different times, police say.

"The first occurred at an open car park in Taman Dagang Jaya, Ampang at around 6.30am on Thursday (March 16)," Selangor police chief Comm Datuk Hussein Omar Khan said in a statement on Friday (March 17).

"The complainant (in that case) also received threats in phone messages targeted at himself and his family," he said.
