PETALING JAYA: Datuk Seri Khairul Dzaimee Daud has been transferred to the Prime Minister's Department, effective Wednesday (March 22).
The former Immigration Department director-general had a special farewell ceremony in Putrajaya at 5pm.
He confirmed the news of his transfer to the department’s Legal Affairs Division.
"My new position will be the Legal Affairs Division director-general under Datuk Seri Azalina Othman Said," he told The Star briefly.
He will be reporting for duty on Thursday (March 23).
Former National Registration Department director-general Datuk Ruslin Jusoh will take over Khairul Dzaimee' s position as Immigration DG.
This was made known after Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail introduced Ruslin as the new Immigration director-general during the monthly assembly this morning.
