Melaka teacher killed after car flips over near clinic


MELAKA: A secondary school teacher was killed after his car turned turtle and landed at the entrance of the Seri Tanjung health clinic here.

Melaka Tengah OCPD Asst Comm Christopher Patit identified the victim as Goh Mun Hock, 59, of SMK Seri Tanjung.

He said in the 8.10am incident on Wednesday (March 22), the victim is believed to have lost control of his car while on his way to school from the city centre.

The vehicle also hit the concrete wall of the clinic along Jalan Kampung Gelam here.

ACP Christopher said the victim, from Taman Terendak Permai in Sungai Udang, died on the spot.

He added that a post-mortem is being carried out to determine the actual cause of death.
