THE century-old annual festival of Manmathan drew thousands of devotees and visitors from around the country to Kampung Baru Ampar Tenang in Dengkil, Selangor, Malaysia Nanban reported.
Manmathan, who is also known as Kamadevan, is the Hindu god of love and passion. Rathi is his consort and female counterpart.
The village in Dengkil is the only known Indian community in the country which celebrates the festival for this godly loving couple.
The 14-day festival was held in a temporary temple constructed near the Mariamman Temple.
