KUALA LUMPUR: V. Sivakumar and his ministry’s officials are willing to cooperate with authorities in relation to the graft probe of his officers.
The Human Resources Minister also said that he had not been summoned by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) to have his statement recorded.
"Not yet, but if I am called, I am willing to give my statement," he told reporters after an event in conjunction with the Tamil Near Year.

He said the anti-graft agency was simply carrying out their duties and responsibilities with the investigation, adding that it was his and his officers duty to cooperate.
"In principle, I support the implementation of the law based on justice and truth in the investigation," he added.
Two of the minister’s officers had been arrested by the MACC.
The minister’s aide, believed to be holding the post of private secretary, was arrested on Friday (April 14) morning after being summoned to the MACC headquarters for her statement to be recorded.
Investigators had obtained an order for the officer to be remanded until April 17.

On Wednesday (April 12), graft investigators arrested a senior officer along with a businessman in connection with the investigation involving the recruitment of foreign workers.
The senior officer was believed to be a former leader in the DAP Socialist Youth (Dapsy).
The two suspects, aged between 40 and 50, were picked up at KLIA around 1am on Wednesday upon their arrival from Bangkok, Thailand.
They have been remanded until April 17.
