> Despite eight years having gone by, the eldest son of a murder victim in Kelantan still longs for his late mother.
The victim’s husband, Mohd Azrul Isahak, 38, said his son Ahmad Qushri, 13, who was five years old when the tragedy happened, has always been asking about his late mother until today, reported Berita Harian.
“Every time he asked me about his late mother, I’d talk about it for a while before changing the topic to distract him.
“Even though I have remarried, my children, especially the eldest and the second, still ask about their mother,” he said.
Mohd Azrul said that because the two children had been raised by their mother, they both retained memories of her before she passed away.
The late Yashmin Fauzi, 25, was killed by an intruder who went into their house in Kampung Papan, Gua Musang, on March 1, 2015.
During the incident, Mohd Azrul was working as a police volunteer in the Gua Musang police headquarters.
