ACTRESS Nur Fazura Sharifuddin is hoping to produce female-empowering films and dramas through her own film production company named Fazura Pictures, Harian Metro reported.
“I want to uphold the dignity of women through such works, besides producing quality dramas,” she said.
Fazura, 40, said she had received many acting offers but many of them were not up to her preferences.
Those roles, she said, mainly focused on love triangles.
“With the setting up of Fazura Pictures, I would like to produce films that are meaningful to the people. It will involve all types of genres including horror movies,” she added.
As of now, she said, Fazura Pictures is working on a short film on YouTube.
Fazura also hopes to eventually become a director.
> Cosmetics entrepreneur Datuk Seri Vida has released a Hari Raya song titled Muah Muah Raya.
Thankfully, she said, the song had a positive reception from people.
“I’m hoping it will be trending soon as I want to make something of quality rather than controversial,” Harian Metro quoted her as saying.
Vida, 52, wrote the lyrics to the tune which was created by Amy Ukays.
In 2018, Vida, whose real name is Hasmiza Othman, had a Hari Raya song called Lavida Raya.
