A MAN killed his wife and son in an honour killing in India, Malaysia Nanban reported.

It all began when his son, Subbash, 26, fell in love with Anusuya, a co-worker at a clothing factory where he worked.

Their families, however, objected to the relationship because they are from different communities.

The young couple then decided to elope and got married in a temple.

After their wedding, Subbash returned to his parents’ house with his wife. But they were chased out by his father Thandabani, 50.

Thandabani who found out his wife Kannamma had taken in the couple, stabbed Kannamma and Subbash repeatedly.

He also slashed and stabbed Anusuya during the fight. Subbash and Kannamma died on the spot while Anusuya is still in serious condition.

Thandabani, who went into hiding for about a month, was eventually arrested two days ago.
