Car lands upside down in Kuala Kubu Bharu drain


PETALING JAYA: A car carrying a family of four, including a baby, crashed and landed upside-down in a drain here.

Selangor Fire and Rescue Department director Morni Mamat said that the accident occurred at Jalan Kuala Kubu Bharu.

A distress call to the department was received at 3.50pm on Wednesday (April 26), and the Kuala Kubu Bharu fire station deployed a team to the scene.

"There were four victims, a husband and wife aged 36 and 37 respectively, an 80-year-old man and a one-year-old baby.

"Three victims were rescued by the public and the elderly man was saved by firefighters," he said.

It is leant that the family was heading towards Ampang Pecah.
